Football season is back and in our house we fully support our Green & Gold and host Packer parties every Sunday. In preparation for week 1, I hit Pinterest and found this recipe for a 4 Layer Pizza Dip from the Slow Roasted Italian. I don’t typically have the best of luck with Pinterest, I’m usually one of those #PinterestFail memes live in person, but this one hit it out of the park and was SUPER simple. I adapted the recipe a little because while I do have Italian in my blood, I have more of “make it as simple as possible so I don’t screw up” coursing through the veins. You can view the original recipe on the link above or try out this quick & easy option as well!
(in case you’re curious, no this does not count as a healthy dip ~ Treat Yo self #Wink)
8 oz package of cream cheese
15 oz can of pizza sauce
½ package of shredded mozzarella cheese
½ package of shredded Italian Blend cheese
Layer cream cheese in bottom of 8 x 8 pan (or pie plate). Pour sauce over cream cheese layer. Layer a mixture of mozzarella & Italian blend cheese. Top with pepperoni (and other pizza toppings if you want**)
Bake for 20-25 min at 350 or until cheese is golden. Serve with hard breadsticks or crackers.
**Note – you can also add any other pizza toppings you would prefer.
